Template Instructions

Instructions for marketing templates. You may want to print this for future reference.

1. Most computers already have Acrobat Reader as their default PDF reader. If you don't already have it click here for the free download.

2. Make sure you have all the photos you are going to use on your computer. Keep your photos as high resolution from when you downloaded them from your camera.

 3. In most cases you can use whatever photo editing software you like. If you do not have editing software try clicking here for this free online editor from PICNIK then just save them back to your computer when finished. (see instructions below)

4. When you first visit the AgentOwned Marketing website you will need to log in or create an account.

5. Browse through the Categories menu on the left and select the material you are interested in. All marketing material is free for Agent-Owners. Proceed to check out like you would at any online store.

6. Upload your CSV file of contact names and type in the quantity you need.

7. Go through the entire check out process until you reach the download file you selected. You can click on the file now and you will also be sent an email with the link to the file. (this is handy if you need to start again or if you would like to complete it later)

8. The file you download is in PDF form and is EDITABLE from your computer.

9. There is a HIGHLIGHT box at the top that you can turn off and on to let you know what fields need to be filled in.

10. Simply click and type over the information there, replacing it with what you want. Click on the photo boxes where you will be prompted to select photos from your computer. (use your photo editing software or see the instructions below for the online editor)

 

NOTE: When you first open the PDF Form on your computer you may get a message asking to select a complete form to response file. Just ignore this and click CANCEL

Here is an example of how to resize your photos using PICNIK:

1. Click on the get started now button

2. Click on the upload a photo button

3. You will be prompted to select a photo from your computer.

4. Once the photo loads into PICNIK click the Crop button.

5. Next you will see the photo in actual size. make it so there are no constraints (this photo is 1648x2198)

6. On the template you have chosen you will see gray boxes with "click to upload photo" on them. Here is where the pixel number is used. In this example we need a photo that is 375 x 450 for the agent photo.

7. Enter these numbers (375 x 450) into the boxes and check Scale Photo.

8. Now you are free to adjust the box the picture sits in by dragging and moving it around. When you are satisfied click OK.

9. Next click Save & Share.

10. In the save this photo to my computer window make sure you move the slider all the way to the right. The window will refresh itself. Then click Save Photo. You will be prompted to name and save the photo on your computer. Consider giving it a simple name and save it to your desktop for easy reference.

When you are finished editing your form please use your GMAIL account to submit. Creating an account is easy and it will enable you to send large files like these PDF's.
